About the Namibian Embassy in Berlin
The Namibian Embassy in Berlin represents the Republic of Namibia in Germany and supports bilateral relations between Namibia and Germany. Its work includes political dialogue, economic cooperation, cultural relations, development cooperation and consular affairs.

German Schengen visa applications from residents of Namibia are handled through the German Embassy in Windhoek. Since 19 January 2026, Schengen visa applications are submitted through TLScontact in Windhoek.
German citizens require a visa to enter Namibia for tourism. This requirement has applied since 1 April 2025. Eligible travellers can apply online before departure or use the applicable visa-on-arrival procedure.
