About the Spanish consulate general

The office is headed by Consul General Cristóbal González-Aller Jurado, according to the Portuguese Foreign Ministry’s list of the diplomatic corps (July 2026). Spain runs 2 career consular posts in Portugal, also in Lisbon. The Portuguese Foreign Ministry does not publish the consular districts; if you are unsure which office is responsible for your place of residence, ask the consulate or the embassy. The embassy in Lisbon is roughly 275 km away.
