Who runs the Kenyan Embassy?
According to the Spanish diplomatic list, Kenya is represented by Ambassador Nairimas Sharon Ole-Sein (since 16 May 2024). 9 diplomats and attachés are accredited to the embassy, according to the Spanish list.

Visa and entry information for Spanish citizens
Spanish citizens do not need a visa for short stays in Kenya, but must obtain an electronic travel authorisation before departure. The passport should be valid for at least six months. The Spanish Foreign Ministry advises caution in Kenya and recommends avoiding certain areas. Details: Spanish travel advice (Recomendaciones de viaje).
Closing days
Expect the embassy to be closed on Spanish national holidays and on Kenya’s national day (12 December). In the Community of Madrid, the Community of Madrid Day on 2 May is a regional holiday. Check before visiting around Christmas, Easter (Holy Week) and local fiestas.
Emergency assistance
In an emergency, Kenyan citizens should call the embassy on +34 91 781 20 00. The embassy can help with lost passports, arrests and serious accidents, but it cannot cover costs or interfere with Spanish authorities. The Spanish emergency number is 112.
