A holiday that falls on a weekend is not moved; employees get a compensatory day off instead, so some offices close on a replacement day. In 2027, Easter Monday falls on 29 March and Ascension Day on 6 May. The embassy may also close on Armenia’s national day (21 September).

Emergency assistance

In Luxembourg, dial 112 for an ambulance or the fire service and 113 for the police. Luxembourg has no embassy accredited from abroad listed for Armenia; under a 1965 consular cooperation agreement, Luxembourg citizens there can turn to Belgian embassies and consulates, or contact the Luxembourg Ministry of Foreign and European Affairs, whose switchboard can be reached outside office hours and at weekends on +352 247-82300.
