Many consular services require an appointment – check the website first.
Closing days
Like most offices in Poland, the embassy closes on public holidays – including Easter Monday, Corpus Christi and All Saints’ Day (1 November); the Danish national day (5 June) usually means a closure too. Many missions also close on their own national and religious holidays – call ahead.
Emergency assistance
Danish nationals in urgent need of help can reach the embassy on +48 22 565 29 00. Embassies can issue emergency travel documents, contact relatives and provide lists of lawyers or doctors; they cannot pay bills or act as a lawyer. In Poland, the emergency number is 112. Polish citizens who need help in Denmark can contact the Polish Embassy in Copenhagen; the Polish Foreign Ministry’s Odyseusz service lists all Polish consular contacts and lets travellers register their trip.
