About the Iranian Embassy in Brussels
Seyed Mohammad Ali Robat Jazi heads the embassy as ambassador; the Belgian list gives 18 January 2024 as the date of the presentation of credentials. Many embassies in Brussels are also accredited to Luxembourg, and some Iranian diplomats in the city work with the European Union and NATO – these are separate missions with their own staff.

Closing days
The embassy is closed on Belgian public holidays as well as on the Iranian national day, 11 February. Check before visiting in the weeks around Christmas, Easter and in July/August.
Emergency assistance
Iranian nationals in urgent need of help can reach the embassy on +32 2 627 03 50. Embassies can issue emergency travel documents, contact relatives and provide lists of lawyers or doctors; they cannot pay bills or act as a lawyer. The Belgian emergency number is 112 (police: 101).
