Who runs the Nigerian Embassy?

Visa and entry information for Italian citizens
Italian citizens need a visa for Nigeria; it can be applied for online. Details: Italian travel advice (Viaggiare Sicuri).
Closing days
The embassy is closed on Italian public holidays; Nigerian celebrations on 1 October (national day) usually mean a closure too. Offices in the city also close on 29 June for the feast of Saints Peter and Paul. Many offices work reduced hours in August – call ahead in summer.
Emergency assistance
In an emergency, Nigerian citizens should call the embassy on +39 06 68393200. Consular staff can replace lost travel documents and inform family members; they do not provide legal representation or money. The Italian emergency number is 112.
