Chioma Priscillia Ohakim heads the embassy as ambassador; the Polish protocol list gives 28 September 2026 as the date of the presentation of credentials.
Do Polish citizens need a visa for Nigeria?
Polish citizens need a visa for Nigeria, to be obtained before travelling. The Polish Ministry of Foreign Affairs publishes the current entry rules in its travel advice (in Polish); check it before booking.
Closing days
Expect the embassy to be closed on Polish holidays such as Constitution Day (3 May), Independence Day (11 November) and Christmas Eve (24 December) and on Nigeria’s national day (1 October).
