About the honorary consulate in Aarhus
According to the list, the post has been held since 1997.
The office itself is located in Risskov, in the Aarhus area.
The Danish Ministry of Foreign Affairs does not publish visa rules for individual countries. Its travel advice points out that the authorities of the destination decide on entry rules, and asks Danish citizens to check with that country’s nearest embassy or consulate before departure – for Oman, that means this mission. Which Omani office issues passports and visas?
The Omani Embassy in Berlin (accredited to Denmark) is the place for passports and most consular matters; the honorary consul can advise but does not replace it.
Note: Oman has no resident embassy in Copenhagen; its embassy in Berlin is accredited to Denmark.

What can an honorary consul do?
An honorary consul is not a career diplomat but a local resident – often a business person or lawyer – appointed by Oman and approved by the host country. Depending on the powers granted, the honorary consul can help Omani citizens in an emergency (lost passport, accident, arrest), pass on applications and documents to the embassy, and certify signatures or life certificates. Passports and visas are not issued by an honorary consulate; they remain the responsibility of the embassy or a career consulate.
