Visitors go to Boulevard Saint Michel 28, 1040 Etterbeek. Etterbeek is one of the 19 municipalities of the Brussels-Capital Region.

  • Opening hours (according to the embassy): Monday to Friday from 09:00 to 13:00 and from 15:00 to 17:00.
  • Documents: take originals and photocopies, and a valid passport or identity card.

Travelling from Belgium to Seychelles

Belgian citizens do not need a visa for short stays in Seychelles, but must obtain an electronic travel authorisation before departure. Details: Belgian Foreign Ministry – travel documents by country.

Closing days

Expect the embassy to be closed on Belgian holidays such as 21 July (National Day), 15 August and 11 November; Seychellois celebrations on 18 June (national day) usually mean a closure too. Check before visiting in the weeks around Christmas, Easter and in July/August.

Emergency assistance

Seychellois nationals in urgent need of help can reach the embassy on +32 2 733 60 55. The embassy can help with lost passports, arrests and serious accidents, but it cannot cover costs or interfere with Belgian authorities. The Belgian emergency number is 112 (police: 101).
