About the Solomon Islands Embassy in Brussels
The ambassador is Martin Kwaifono, who presented credentials to the King of the Belgians on 14 May 2025. This is the bilateral embassy to the Kingdom of Belgium; missions to the European Union or NATO in Brussels are separate offices.

Closing days
Like most offices in Belgium, the embassy closes on public holidays – including Easter Monday, Ascension Day and Whit Monday. Many offices work reduced hours in summer – call ahead in July and August.
Emergency assistance
In an emergency, Solomon Islands citizens should call the embassy on +32 2 732 70 85. The embassy can help with lost passports, arrests and serious accidents, but it cannot cover costs or interfere with Belgian authorities. The Belgian emergency number is 112 (police: 101).
