Closing days
Expect the embassy to be closed on Italian national holidays such as 25 April, 2 June and 15 August and on Uruguay’s national day (25 August). Local holiday: 29 June, the feast of Saints Peter and Paul, patron of the city. Many offices work reduced hours in August – call ahead in summer.
