Location of the Embassy

The embassy and its network in Poland

Hannes Schreiber heads the embassy as ambassador; the Polish protocol list gives 13 October 2025 as the date of the presentation of credentials. Austria also has a consulate general in Krakow. Five honorary consulates – in Gdansk, Lodz, Mikolow, Poznan and Wroclaw – support Austrian citizens outside the capital.

Consular services

Depending on where you live, consular matters may also be handled by the consulate general in Krakow.
