Emergency assistance
In an emergency, Austrian citizens should call the embassy on +32 2 289 07 00. The embassy can help with lost passports, arrests and serious accidents, but it cannot cover costs or interfere with Belgian authorities. The Belgian emergency number is 112 (police: 101). Belgian citizens who need help in Austria contact the Belgian Embassy in Vienna.
