About the honorary consulate in Minsk
The Belarusian Foreign Ministry’s handbook lists office hours (Monday to Friday 11:00–15:00); as honorary consuls work part-time, confirm before you go.
Minsk is in the city of Minsk.
Bahrain is not on the Belarusian Foreign Ministry’s list of visa-free destinations for Belarusian citizens, so a visa is normally required; the ministry asks travellers to check the entry rules with the embassy of the destination country before departure. See the ministry’s list of visa-free destinations (in Russian).
Which Bahraini office issues passports and visas?
The Bahraini embassy responsible for Belarus is the place for passports and most consular matters; the honorary consul can advise but does not replace it.
What can an honorary consul do?
An honorary consul is not a career diplomat but a local resident – often a business person or lawyer – appointed by Bahrain and approved by the host country. Depending on the powers granted, the honorary consul can help Bahraini citizens in an emergency (lost passport, accident, arrest), pass on applications and documents to the embassy, and certify signatures or life certificates. Passports and visas are not issued by an honorary consulate; they remain the responsibility of the embassy or a career consulate.

On the Bahraini national day (16 December) the office is usually closed or holds a reception.
