Requirements and fees can change and individual posts may ask for more – confirm the current list with the embassy before your visit.

Do I need an appointment?

Ask in advance whether your service needs a booked slot.

Do Polish citizens need a visa for Belarus?

Polish citizens do not need a visa for short tourist stays in Belarus (up to 90 days), according to the Polish Ministry of Foreign Affairs; a valid passport is required. The Polish Ministry of Foreign Affairs publishes the current entry rules in its travel advice (in Polish); check it before booking.

Closing days

The embassy is normally closed on Polish public holidays as well as on the Belarusian national day, 3 July. Many missions also close on their own national and religious holidays – call ahead.

Emergency assistance

For emergencies, the embassy’s number is +48 22 742 09 90. The embassy can help with lost passports, arrests and serious accidents, but it cannot cover costs or interfere with Polish authorities. In Poland, the emergency number is 112. Polish citizens who need help in Belarus can contact the Polish Embassy in Minsk; the Polish Foreign Ministry’s Odyseusz service lists all Polish consular contacts and lets travellers register their trip.
