Like most offices in Belgium, the embassy closes on public holidays – including Easter Monday, Ascension Day and Whit Monday. Many offices work reduced hours in summer – call ahead in July and August.

Bruneian nationals in urgent need of help can reach the embassy on +32 2 675 08 78. The embassy can help with lost passports, arrests and serious accidents, but it cannot cover costs or interfere with Belgian authorities. The Belgian emergency number is 112 (police: 101).
