About the Iranian Embassy in Rome
Mohamed Reza Sabouri heads the embassy as ambassador; the Italian list gives 11 January 2023 as the date of accreditation. 12 diplomats are accredited to the embassy, according to the Italian list. Iran also has career consular offices in Milan.

Like most offices in Italy, the embassy closes on public holidays; Iranian celebrations on 11 February (national day) usually mean a closure too. Local holiday: 29 June, the feast of Saints Peter and Paul, patron of the city. Check before visiting around Christmas, Easter and the August holidays (Ferragosto).
