About the Lebanese consulate general
Together with the embassy in Rome, the consulate general in Milan is part of Lebanon’s consular network in Italy. The office is headed by Consul General Khalil Mohamad (Italian exequatur granted in November 2019). The consulate general is responsible for Lombardy, Piedmont, Emilia-Romagna, Trentino-South Tyrol. Book an appointment where possible – walk-in capacity is limited.
Closing days
The consulate general is closed on Italian public holidays as well as on the Lebanese national day, 22 November. Offices in the city also close on 7 December for the feast of Saint Ambrose. Many offices work reduced hours in August – call ahead in summer.
Emergency assistance
In an emergency, Lebanese citizens should contact the consulate general on +39 02 8061341. Help is available for lost passports, arrests and serious accidents, but not for legal fees or travel costs. In Italy, the general emergency number is 112.
