Visa and entry information for British citizens

British citizens do not need a visa for short tourist stays in Morocco (up to 90 days); a valid passport is required. Details: UK government travel advice – entry requirements.

Closing days

Like most offices in the UK, the embassy closes on UK bank holidays; the Moroccan national day (30 July) often means a closure too.

Emergency assistance

Missions can issue emergency travel documents, contact relatives and provide lists of lawyers or doctors; they cannot pay bills or act as a lawyer. In the UK, the emergency number is 999 (or 112).
