Travelling from Denmark to Nepal
The Danish Ministry of Foreign Affairs does not publish visa rules for individual countries. Its travel advice points out that the authorities of the destination decide on entry rules, and asks Danish citizens to check with that country’s nearest embassy or consulate before departure – for Nepal, that means this mission. Closing days
Expect the embassy to be closed on Danish public holidays such as Maundy Thursday, Good Friday, Easter Monday, Ascension Day, Whit Monday and Constitution Day (5 June). It is usually also closed on Nepal’s national day (19 September).
Emergency assistance
In Denmark, the emergency number is 112; the police can be reached on 114 for non-urgent matters. Danish citizens who need help in Nepal can contact the Danish embassy accredited to the country or the Danish Foreign Ministry’s 24-hour Global Watch Centre on +45 33 92 11 12.
