Who runs the Senegalese Embassy?
Ngor Ndiaye heads the embassy as ambassador; the Italian list gives 31 July 2023 as the date of accreditation. 10 diplomats are accredited to the embassy, according to the Italian list. Senegal also has career consular offices in Milan and Naples. Seven honorary consulates support Senegalese citizens in other parts of Italy.

Do Italian citizens need a visa for Senegal?
Italian citizens do not need a visa for short tourist stays in Senegal (up to 90 days). Details: Italian travel advice (Viaggiare Sicuri).
Closing days
Expect the embassy to be closed on Italian national holidays such as 25 April, 2 June and 15 August; Senegalese celebrations on 4 April (national day) usually mean a closure too. The city’s patron saint’s day (Saints Peter and Paul, 29 June) is a local holiday. Check before visiting around Christmas, Easter and the August holidays (Ferragosto).
