Expect the embassy to be closed on Italian national holidays such as 25 April, 2 June and 15 August as well as on the Congolese national day, 30 June. Local holiday: 29 June, the feast of Saints Peter and Paul, patron of the city. Check before visiting around Christmas, Easter and the August holidays (Ferragosto).
