- Two identical recent photos, 35 × 45 mm, on a white or light blue background
- Personal appearance is required when you submit the application

- For loss or theft: a declaration made to the CNIE officer at the consulate
Consular registration (immatriculation)
- Passport or CNIE (or CNIE receipt) – original and photocopy
- Valid proof of legal residence in Spain (residence permit, long-stay visa, work or study permit)
- Proof of address if the residence document does not show your current address (rental contract, utility bill)
- Two colour passport photos on a white or blue background
- Personal appearance is required
