Documents checklist

Prepare these documents before your appointment. The lists are taken from official Serbian sources:

Serbian passport (application at a mission abroad)

  • Book an appointment where required (eConsulate) and apply in person; the passport is also collected in person or by someone you authorise in writing when applying
  • Identity document – biometric passport, ID card or other public document
  • Certificate of Serbian citizenship (for a first biometric passport or if personal data have changed); the birth certificate is usually obtained by the mission
  • Your previous passport – or a police report if it was lost or stolen
  • Proof of legal residence in Greece (requested by many missions)
  • Passports are produced in Serbia; the legal processing time for applications abroad is 60 days

Sources: Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Serbia – travel documents (checked October 2026). Requirements and fees can change and individual posts may ask for more – confirm the current list with the embassy before your visit.
