About the Serbian Embassy in Brussels

Serbian passport (application at a mission abroad)
- Book an appointment where required (eConsulate) and apply in person; the passport is also collected in person or by someone you authorise in writing when applying
- Identity document – biometric passport, ID card or other public document
- Certificate of Serbian citizenship (for a first biometric passport or if personal data have changed); the birth certificate is usually obtained by the mission
- Your previous passport – or a police report if it was lost or stolen
- Proof of legal residence in Belgium (requested by many missions)
- Passports are produced in Serbia; the legal processing time for applications abroad is 60 days

Do Belgian citizens need a visa for Serbia?
Belgian citizens do not need a visa for short tourist stays in Serbia; according to the Belgian Foreign Ministry, a valid identity card (eID) or passport is accepted. The Belgian Foreign Ministry keeps the entry rules for Belgians in its travel documents database; check it before booking.
Closing days
The embassy is closed on Belgian public holidays and on Serbia’s national day (15 February). Check before visiting in the weeks around Christmas, Easter and in July/August.
