Travelling from Bosnia and Herzegovina to Sweden
Citizens of Bosnia and Herzegovina with an ordinary biometric passport do not need a visa for short stays in Sweden, according to the Bosnian Foreign Ministry’s visa information. The ministry reminds travellers to the EU and Schengen area to carry a passport valid for at least three months beyond the planned stay and proof of funds (35–70 euros per day). Closing days
Expect the embassy to be closed on public holidays: in Sarajevo these are 1 and 2 January, Independence Day (1 March), 1 and 2 May and Statehood Day (25 November). On the Swedish national day (6 June) the office is usually closed or holds a reception.
