Requirements and fees can change and individual posts may ask for more – confirm the current list with the embassy before your visit.
Visa and entry information for Czech citizens
Czech citizens do not need a visa for short stays in Vietnam (up to 45 days) – for tourism, according to the Czech Ministry of Foreign Affairs; a valid passport is required. The Czech Foreign Ministry publishes the current entry rules in its travel advice; check it before booking.
Closing days
The embassy is normally closed on Czech public holidays. It is usually also closed on Vietnam’s national day (2 September).
Emergency assistance
In the Czech Republic, the emergency number is 112 (police 158, ambulance 155). Czech citizens who need help in Vietnam should contact the Czech embassy accredited to the country; the Czech Foreign Ministry’s travel information lists the responsible mission, and travellers can register their trip in the ministry’s DROZD system.
