Who runs the Uzbek Embassy?
According to the Italian diplomatic list, Uzbekistan is represented by Ambassador Abat Fayzullaev (accredited 16 November 2023). 5 diplomats are accredited to the embassy, according to the Italian list. Two honorary consulates support Uzbek citizens in other parts of Italy.

Travelling from Italy to Uzbekistan

Closing days
Like most offices in Italy, the embassy closes on public holidays; Uzbek celebrations on 1 September (national day) usually mean a closure too. Offices in the city also close on 29 June for the feast of Saints Peter and Paul. Many offices work reduced hours in August – call ahead in summer.

Uzbek nationals in urgent need of help can reach the embassy on +39 06 87860309. The embassy can help with lost passports, arrests and serious accidents, but it cannot cover costs or interfere with Italian authorities. The Italian emergency number is 112.
