Who runs the Guatemalan Embassy?
Olga Maria Perez Tuna heads the embassy as ambassador; the Italian list gives 9 March 2023 as the date of accreditation. 4 diplomats are accredited to the embassy, according to the Italian list. Four honorary consulates support Guatemalan citizens in other parts of Italy.

Travelling from Italy to Guatemala
Italian citizens do not need a visa for short tourist stays in Guatemala (up to 90 days). Details: Italian travel advice (Viaggiare Sicuri).
Closing days
Expect the embassy to be closed on Italian national holidays such as 25 April, 2 June and 15 August; Guatemalan celebrations on 15 September (national day) usually mean a closure too. The city’s patron saint’s day (Saints Peter and Paul, 29 June) is a local holiday. If your visit falls close to a holiday, confirm by phone or e-mail.

In an emergency, Guatemalan citizens should call the embassy on +39 06 36381143. Embassies can issue emergency travel documents, contact relatives and provide lists of lawyers or doctors; they cannot pay bills or act as a lawyer. The Italian emergency number is 112.
