Who runs the Korean Embassy?

- Registration of births, marriages and deaths
- Citizenship and civil register matters
- Visas for travellers who need one for South Korea
- Help for citizens in difficulty – illness, arrest or loss of documents
Documents checklist
The most frequent applications and the documents the Korean authorities ask for:
Korean passport (new or reissue, at a mission abroad)
- Apply in person at the embassy or consulate responsible for your place of residence (often by reservation)
- Application form and one passport photo
- Your most recent previous passport and a copy of its photo page
- Proof of residence status in the Netherlands (visa or residence permit)
- Men aged 25 or over who have not completed military service may need permission from the Military Manpower Administration for travel abroad
