Visa information
Travelling from Germany to Singapore
German citizens do not need a visa for stays of up to 90 days. All travellers must fill in the SG Arrival Card online before travel.
- Thumbprints are scanned at every entry and exit (except children under six).
- Overstaying is punished strictly.
- Importing e-cigarettes, chewing gum, toy guns and fireworks is prohibited; goods above the duty-free allowance are subject to GST.
- Cash of SGD 20,000 or more must be declared.

Closing days
The embassy is closed on German public holidays in Berlin and on Singapore holidays, including Chinese New Year, Hari Raya Puasa, National Day on 9 August and Deepavali.
