About the Ivorian Embassy in The Hague
Monsieur Diarrassouba Mifougo Youssouf heads the embassy as ambassador; the Dutch protocol list gives 24 May 2023 as the date of the presentation of credentials. The Hague is the seat of the Dutch government and of international institutions such as the International Court of Justice, the International Criminal Court and the OPCW, so many embassies in the city also follow their work.

Visa and entry information for Dutch citizens
Dutch citizens need a visa for Côte d’Ivoire, to be obtained before travelling. The Dutch Ministry of Foreign Affairs publishes the current entry rules in its travel advice (in Dutch); check it before booking.
Closing days
Expect the embassy to be closed on Dutch holidays such as King’s Day (27 April), Ascension Day and Whit Monday and on Côte d’Ivoire’s national day (7 August). Check before visiting in the weeks around Christmas and Easter.

The embassy can help with lost passports, arrests and serious accidents, but it cannot cover costs or interfere with Dutch authorities.
