Visitors go to Chaussée de Charleroi 139, 1060 Saint-Gilles. The address is in Saint-Gilles, a municipality of the Brussels-Capital Region.

Who runs the Haitian Embassy?

Alrich Nicolas heads the embassy as ambassador; the Belgian list gives 21 March 2025 as the date of the presentation of credentials. Brussels hosts the EU institutions and NATO, so several countries keep separate missions there; this page covers the bilateral embassy to Belgium. Closing days

Expect the embassy to be closed on Belgian holidays such as 21 July (National Day), 15 August and 11 November and on Haiti’s national day (1 January). Many offices work reduced hours in summer – call ahead in July and August.

Emergency assistance

For emergencies, the embassy’s number is +32 2 649 73 81. Embassies can issue emergency travel documents, contact relatives and provide lists of lawyers or doctors; they cannot pay bills or act as a lawyer. The Belgian emergency number is 112 (police: 101).
