Applying for a Saudi business visa
- A passport valid for at least six months
- A letter from your company, certified by the Chamber of Commerce (IHK) or Chamber of Crafts
- An invitation from your Saudi partner, certified by the local chamber of commerce, or approval from the Ministry of Investment
Visa information
Travelling from Germany to Saudi Arabia
German citizens need a visa. Tourists can apply online for an e-visa before travel; a visa on arrival is possible, but applying in advance is recommended.
- Temporary passports are not accepted.
- Business, work and journalist visas are issued by the Saudi missions; frequent business travellers can get a one-year multiple-entry visa.
- Rules for transit are not always applied consistently; check with your airline.
- The Federal Foreign Office has a partial travel warning for the border region with Yemen.
