Visa and entry information for Italian citizens
Italian citizens can travel to Slovenia without a visa; a valid passport or national identity card is enough. Details: Italian travel advice (Viaggiare Sicuri).
Closing days
Expect the embassy to be closed on Italian national holidays such as 25 April, 2 June and 15 August as well as on the Slovenian national day, 25 June. Offices in the city also close on 29 June for the feast of Saints Peter and Paul. If your visit falls close to a holiday, confirm by phone or e-mail.
