About the honorary consulate in Copenhagen
The year given in the list for the appointment is 2000. The Danish Ministry of Foreign Affairs lists office hours (Monday to Thursday 08:30–15:30); as honorary consuls work part-time, confirm before you go.
The Danish Ministry of Foreign Affairs does not publish visa rules for individual countries. Its travel advice points out that the authorities of the destination decide on entry rules, and asks Danish citizens to check with that country’s nearest embassy or consulate before departure – for Trinidad and Tobago, that means this mission. Which Trinidadian office issues passports and visas?
Official documents for Trinidadian citizens are issued by the Trinidadian Embassy in London (accredited to Denmark); the honorary consulate can explain the procedure.
Note: Trinidad and Tobago has no resident embassy in Copenhagen; its embassy in London is accredited to Denmark.

What can an honorary consul do?
An honorary consul is not a career diplomat but a local resident – often a business person or lawyer – appointed by Trinidad and Tobago and approved by the host country. Depending on the powers granted, the honorary consul can help Trinidadian citizens in an emergency (lost passport, accident, arrest), pass on applications and documents to the embassy, and certify signatures or life certificates. Passports and visas are not issued by an honorary consulate; they remain the responsibility of the embassy or a career consulate.
