The embassy and its staff

Ambassador Edit Szilagyine Batorfi has headed the embassy since July 2023. The embassy’s diplomatic staff numbers 22, according to the Austrian Foreign Ministry. Its team includes a defence attaché. Do not confuse the embassy with Hungary’s permanent mission to the OSCE: that mission deals with multilateral diplomacy only.
