The South Korean Embassy is at Stülerstraße 10 in Berlin-Tiergarten, in the embassy quarter south of the Tiergarten park. The consular section is next door at Stülerstraße 8.

About the South Korean Embassy in Berlin
The embassy represents the Republic of Korea in Germany. In the 1960s and 1970s thousands of Korean miners and nurses came to West Germany as guest workers, and many stayed. Today carmakers such as Hyundai and Kia have their European headquarters in the Frankfurt area.
South Korea has an embassy branch office in Bonn, consulates general in Frankfurt am Main and Hamburg, and three honorary consuls.

Before you fly to South Korea
- A passport valid on the day of entry (no minimum remaining validity)
- The e-Arrival Card, submitted online within three days before arrival (paper cards are rarely handed out on flights)
- A Q-code only if you have symptoms of illness
Visa information
Travelling from Germany to South Korea
German citizens can visit South Korea without a visa for stays of less than 90 days without employment.
- The K-ETA exemption has been extended: until 31 December 2026, Germans do not need a K-ETA.
- Since February 2025, the free e-Arrival Card can be submitted online within three days before arrival.
- Germany is on the list of quarantine inspection areas; a Q-code is required only if you have symptoms.
Travelling from South Korea to Germany
South Korean citizens can visit Germany without a visa for up to 90 days within any 180 days.

Closing days
The embassy is closed on German public holidays in Berlin and on Korean holidays, including Seollal (Lunar New Year), Chuseok in autumn, National Foundation Day on 3 October and Hangul Day on 9 October.
