About the Guinean Embassy in Berlin
The embassy represents the Republic of Guinea, with Conakry as its capital, in Germany. Guinea holds some of the world’s largest bauxite reserves, which are important for aluminium production, including in Germany.
Guinea also has an honorary consul in Frankfurt am Main.

- Proof of yellow fever vaccination: officially only required if arriving from a yellow fever country, but often checked for everyone

Travelling from Germany to Guinea
German citizens need a visa, which must be applied for online on the website of the Guinean border police before travel.
- Guinean francs may not be taken out of the country.
- Souvenirs must be declared at the customs counter at the airport before departure, with the receipt.
- Goods for commercial purposes must be declared in advance with the customs directorate.

Guinean citizens need a Schengen visa from the German Embassy in Conakry.
