About the Greek Embassy in Berlin

The Greek Embassy in Berlin is the official diplomatic representation of the Hellenic Republic in Germany. It represents Greek interests and supports the close political, economic, cultural and security relationship between Greece and Germany.

German citizens likewise do not need a visa to travel to Greece. They can enter Greece with a valid German passport or identity card and may live, work or study there under the applicable EU rules.

Greece and Germany are both members of the Schengen Area. Travel between the two countries therefore normally takes place without routine immigration controls at internal Schengen borders, although travellers should still carry a valid travel document.
